Sydney Robotics Masterclass Series

The RPA Institute of Academic Surgery and Sydney Local Health District are hosting the Sydney Robotics Masterclass on Saturday 29 June 2019. With a more practical program than the Sydney Robotics Summit, this comprehensive program will include hands on teaching focusing on multidisciplinary training and education in robotic surgery.

The day is divided into two programs which will run concurrently. The first being a half day robotic seminar targeted at anyone with a general interest in robotic surgery including junior doctors, nurses, researchers and students focusing on the various surgical robotic devices being used, the variety of surgical robotic procedures and the future of robotic surgery.

The second part of the program consists of specialty based workshops. Aimed at fellows, senior surgical registrars and early career robotic surgery consultants, these practical workshops will focus on surgical skills and technique within robotic-assisted surgery and will include intimate tutorial sessions discussing cases, procedures and the robotic devices.
